Genesis emulation has been rejuvenated!! GeneCyst is here! Unfortunately, GenEm is in a holding pattern, but Bloodlust has released GeneCyst, and it now has sound support and perfect speed. Bite it until it bursts! :)

GeneCyst, like NESticle, shot into the scene like a bullet, and I still can't believe it. This EMU is SOO fast compared to GenEm, that I am having trouble comprehending how good a coder Sardu must be. Anyway, it is a pleasure to play sonic again at full speed! And with sound! Have fun.

GenEm was the first grear Genesis EMU. It doesn't have great sound support yet, But it has been sped up in this new version. Shining Force works, as does Sonic and many others. GenEm comes with 2 executables, genem and gennew. Gennew is a newer version of the executable which is much faster, but incompatible with many games. If gennew doesn't work, use genem.
